If you've been reading along this week, you've seen how far Foreword has come in the last half a decade — and we're just getting started.

We've got a lot of exciting plans for Foreword Online in the near future, and we want to give you a sneak preview of everything to come. To round out our fifth birthday week, we're sharing some of our plans and goals for the coming years.

Coming in 2016 The new look of Foreword Online!

A new look with new functionality

Later this year, Foreword will have a sleeker, more modern look, and you're the first to see it. In addition to the facelift, Foreword will also have some exciting new features. For example, more graphical embedded tweets and Facebook posts, links to related articles and prominent content buttons will make everything Foreword has to offer even easier to download and use for your store.

More original content

Former MBS Marketing Communications Manager Stephanie Kubas put it best when she said that over the past five years, the Foreword Online has "evolved from simple reposts from other industry-related sites, to original content sourced directly from our college stores." To make Foreword as engaging as possible, it's our goal for the coming years to further that evolution even more. We hope to continue to bring you more useful content from downloads to videos.

More voices

Whether it's from MBS employees outside of Marketing Services or guest writers from other stores or different segments of the industry, we want Foreword Online to serve as the voice of news and innovation in college retail. That's why we also plan to feature more guest articles and submissions.

More of what you want

Of course, Foreword wouldn't be where it is today without our audience: You. So is there anything in particular you want to see more of as Foreword continues to grow over the next five years? Is there anything you'd like to see in the redesign? Let us know in a comment, or by email. Foreword Online is yours as much as it is ours, and we all have a hand in shaping its future.
