MBS Systems’ 2017 Spring Forums is weeks away. Join us April 18-20, 2017, to learn the capabilities of the system in your store, network with other college stores to learn what they are doing differently and receive in depth training on your own system’s capabilities. The Spring Forums is free, and you receive a special MBS rate on your hotel during your stay.

Last year, there were requests to add more hands-on learning sessions and this year we are delivering. Bring your tablet or laptop and we will train you on useful MBS system features available to you now.

Join us for sessions on Arc, generating reports and more:

Arc With TA2 Hands-On: Course Mapping: Hands-on practice mapping courses within your textbook application. Use mapping tools within adoption maintenance, faculty adoption processes and roll-thrus.

Arc Textbooks Hands-On: Rental Quote Customization: Practice submitting rental quotes to wholesalers and processing the responses. Discuss tips for successful quote imports and options for setting rental prices using the quote. Review ways to manage your quotes for MBS and non-MBS vendors.

Textbook Cycle Hands-On: A Book’s Life: Take a guided tour through the lifecycle of a textbook. See the impact each stage has on your term and your inventory from adoptions through returns.

Arc Merchandise: Hands-On Study of Buyer Reports: Take a guided tour through your trends to discover ways to understand your inventory and sales data.

ARC Textbooks and Merchandise: Report Work Study: Discuss seldom used reports throughout Textbooks, Merchandise and more. Print reports with extract options so they can be further reviewed outside the system. Study reports and discuss how these can be used to better understand the operations in your store.

Reconciling Sales Workshop: Use report information from your POS and Daily Sales to verify sales reconciliation. Discuss common reasons for report differences and how to manage these. Verify sales reconciliation against the Sales Audit reports.

ARC: Month End Workshop: Explore your Textbooks, Merchandise and Accounting modules for monthly process verifications, and discuss the importance of completing processes within the month. Study Month to Date reporting and see how these change as months are closed.

Management Report Generator (MRG) Workshop for Textbooks and Merchandise: This group study on Manager Report Generation creation will walk through creating custom reports in both TA2 and GM2. Discuss success stories with MRGs and work with post-creation options for advancing the efficiency of custom reports.
