It's nice to be celebrated every now and then.

That's why National Student Day was founded. The fourth annual National Student Day will be held tomorrow, Oct. 9, to give credit to students across the country. According to the group's website, National Student Day "is a day that campus stores across North America have created to recognize and encourage volunteerism and social responsibility among the students they serve."

Stores across the country will host events with live music, food, merchandise, sales and more. Many more will offer more service-oriented events, such as collecting canned goods for local food pantries.

Is your store doing anything to celebrate? Are your students involved in any big projects on campus that you're supporting or recognizing this year? We want to know. Post a comment or drop us a line on our Facebook or Twitter. We'll feature respondents in our next Store Story!
