Ordering course materials doesn’t have to be complicated. With MBS, you can source a wide range of course material formats from one reliable partner, helping your store save time, reduce costs, and improve fill rates.

Used Books

MBS maintains a large used textbook inventory, supported by multiple sourcing channels and continuously refreshed availability. Used books remain a popular, affordable option for students, making early ordering and ongoing want list reworks key to maximizing your fill rate.

New Books

Looking for new inventory, too? MBS offers discounted new textbooks, helping stores save money while simplifying receiving and returns through consolidated shipments.

Marketplace Sourcing

Reduce the uncertainty of marketplace purchasing with SimpleSource. Set the price you're willing to pay, and MBS handles the sourcing process. Marketplace books are vetted for authenticity and shipped alongside your wholesale inventory, arriving in one shipment with one invoice.

Rental

MBS Rental gives stores flexibility and control with no contracts or purchasing restrictions. Stores set their own pricing, source inventory as they choose, and benefit from a competitive rebate program. Submitting rental lists early provides more opportunities for reworks and helps maximize title coverage.

Publisher Consignment Rental

Publisher consignment rental programs offer rental-only titles selected by publishers, providing another affordable option for students. While these programs require additional reporting, many stores find the savings and expanded selection well worth the effort.

Digital Materials

For MBS system users, digital course materials are easy to manage. Integrations with VitalSource® and CEI allow students to purchase and access eTextbooks seamlessly while supporting a convenient digital experience.
