As the end of the year draws to a close, we think back over the past year. We are grateful for each college store that has taken the time to speak with us and share ideas, tools and processes that have helped them reach new heights in 2023. Foreword Online will return on January 8, 2024, but let’s take a moment to look back at some of the best advice shared by college stores this year.
As you know, over the course of the term, many students have probably forgotten which books they bought and which books they rented from the college store. Sending students consistent and frequent communication about rental returns can help your store get more books back.
As a sales consultant with MBS Store Technology Solutions, I do not get to use the system the way a college store does. Undoubtedly, I learn something new or am reminded about a feature of the system with each encounter — whether through formal training, a store visit, or the implementation process with a new system partner. This year’s virtual fall forums training event was no exception. I want to take a moment to share some of the sessions that stuck with me.
